Hartford Business Journal Names Stacey DiPiazza
to 2003 “40 Under Forty”
Owner of Infoshred Recognized for Professional Achievement and
Commitment to the Greater Hartford Community
The Hartford Business Journal, Connecticut's leading weekly business
newspaper, named Stacey DiPiazza, owner of Infoshred, LLC, to its "40 Under
Forty" edition. The special issue recognized 40 Greater Hartford business
leaders under 40 years old who have succeeded in business and given back to the
community.
In the 7th Annual "40 Under Forty" competition, winners represented a variety
of industries including service businesses, technology firms, attorneys,
communications professionals and CEO's, as well as restaurateurs and CFO's. "I'm
very honored to be part of this special group," said DiPiazza, 32.
DiPiazza started working for Infoshred in 1993 and bought the company four
years later. Since that time, she has grown the company from a two-employee,
one-truck business into a state-of-the-art, high
security plant-based shredding facility with seven trucks, a mobile
shredding unit and 18 employees. DiPiazza recognized her father, Santa Lombardo,
as the person she most admires for the example he set in balancing his
fast-growing business while dedicating quality time to family.
“I have my dream job,” said DiPiazza. “My job allows me to balance my
professional and personal life. I have the satisfaction of maintaining a career
and spending time raising my daughters.”
All "40 Under Forty" business winners were presented with their awards at the
7th Annual "40 Under Forty" Awards Event held September 19, 2003 at the Greater
Hartford Jaycees Community Boathouse, Riverside Park, in Hartford.
Founded in 1993, Infoshred is focused on providing secure destruction

local, State and Federal requirements including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and
